What We're About

An interview with the Black Keys had a large impact on the philosophy of Goodstone Records. For almost the entirety of the Black Keys' two hour interview, drummer, Pat Carney, spoke about the problems with the modern day music industry. How labels scare artists into thinking they'd be lost without the help of a label and end up taking more from the artist than they give back.

As time goes on more and more independent musicians will realize they don't need the help of a label and will begin to manage their careers on their own.

We see ourselves as a label for the future of the indie music industry. A label that assists the artist to reach their full potential without unfairly taking from them and hindering their work.
